Day 28: Gamer Kids (8/9/2010)

I got up around 9:30am. I only chatted with Scott briefly over breakfast today. I shared some pictures with him, and he sent me some songs to listen to. Then he went to bed at a much more reasonable time, which is good. Once he was gone, I loaded up Mass Effect 2 and played for a couple hours. I was the only one up and around the house this morning. Baerbel went to go horseback riding with her friend, and Dad went to work. Jona and Davin both slept in til noon.

When Dad came home from work he chased me and my computer back downstairs. After a lunch of vegetarian spaghetti, the family discussed the plans for our upcoming trip to Slovenia. Jona, Davin and I gathered together the board games that we want to take with us. Then I went back to playing Mass Effect 2.

Before dinner, I copied ME2 over to my little brother’s computer because he wanted to play it too. We weren’t optimistic that copying the installed game over would work, but it did! So much for more security on new games these days.


For dinner, my Dad grilled some pork steaks, which we had with baked potatoes. It was pretty good. Then we all went back to playing ME2. I played until about 1am, then I said “good night" to Scott, and went to bed.
