I slept in today. Then I worked checked my email. Davin got up and had breakfast. Then we got a call from the Thrify car rental in Southampton. They wanted to know where the car was... Davin explained that we dropped it off it London as per our rental agreement. They seemed surprised but satisfied by this answer.
For lunch today we had a simple dish of lunch meat on noodles. Then Dad had Davin and me help him with some yardwork. We helped spread wood chips on a patch of the yard. It didn’t take very long.
After we finished helping Dad, I set up a place in the yard where I could cut Davin’s hair. We bought hair clippers for 25Euros at Real a few days ago. Davin was very happy to have his hair cut, although he complained it was a little shorter than he normally likes. He cut his beard too short too, and complained he now had a pretty boy beard... whatever that means!
Next, we brought Dad’s weights from the basement to the backyard and Davin and I did our over head press. It was really hard for me. My muscles have already atrophied a lot since we left!!Finally, we went on a short rollerblade adventure before dinner. We explored a path that led down a super steep hill. It was a bad idea. I ended up falling down and scraping up my knee. Then, Davin went from standing still to lying flat on his back. Before I could laugh, I was flat on my back too! Lol. We returned home humbled.
The family sat on the back patio and enjoyed the nice evening weather over a dinner of abendbrot. Later, I watched a bit of the movie Traumschiff Surprise, and went to bed around midnight.
