Day 49: Yet Another Gaming Day! (8/30/2010)

Davin, Jona, and I all slept in until 11am today. It was so nice to sleep in! I ate a quick breakfast and then worked on the photobook I’m making.

Around 1pm, I switched gears to playing Mass Effect 2. I’m really enjoying the game. Jona already beat the game by playing on a lower difficulty and by not being so thorough. Davin is just a little bit behind me. Davin and I played ME2 until it was time for lunch.

Lunch was Schweinebraten with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Delicious. Over lunch we discussed our plans for the rest of our stay in Germany. The weather here is currently on and off rainy. This makes it hard to do the things we want to do, which require sunny or at least rainless days. I guess we’ll just enjoy relaxing and playing computer games together.

We went back to playing Mass Effect 2 until dinner. Dinner was tuna fish sandwiches and bratwurst. After dinner, I listened to a CD of my cousin Lissy singing. She has an amazing voice! Then Davin, Jona, Baerbel, and I played two games of Scotland Yard. I think I explained the game already when we played it in Slovenia, but it’s a board game where one person plays a thief running around London, and the other players are detectives that have to try to find the thief. It’s simple but fun. It’s especially challenging to play the thief. I got the farthest in not getting caught so far.

Then it was back to Mass Effect 2 for me and Davin. Jona played online games with a friend of his. In the end, I went to bed around 1:00am.
